Paglaum: Stories of Hope, Unity and Healing

The pandemic has brought great havoc to everyone—rich, poor, male and female are greatly affected and continues to cripple from poverty and economic landfall in the country. In addition to the COVID-19 pandemic, what worsens the situation more is the proliferation of fake news and disinformation through social media and other media platforms.

 

These situations make the grassroots community the most vulnerable population in these times of crisis. They suffer from both economic and health crises. Hence, the importance of surfacing correct information and the stories of the people on the ground adds on to solving the problem these two crises have surfaced in this lifetime.
